Project Mitambo is a new initiative instigated by a small group of young individuals, with the sole purpose of raising funds towards the purchase of musical instruments for Deliverance Church Kahawa Sukari (DCKS).

There was a need raised, which was common in every founder individual, that there be either replacement or purchase of new equipment, in order to ensure smoothly running services in DCKS. Hence, the idea of a project, schemed out to enable funds to be directed towards this noble purpose. This would be planned for and mapped out in successive meetings, which ended up with a successful layout of how the funds would be sourced and managed.

Our first move was going for a keyboard, in particular was the Korg Krome Keyboard as specified best by the keyboardist himself. Current retail prices at the time stood at sh 110,000. The monetary support came first from each of the preliminary individuals, and then sourcing continued there onwards from close friends. With the able guidance and prompting of Mr. Ngigi, we were able to realize the amount within a period of exactly 1 month. The Korg Krome was commissioned by the Senior Pastor, DCKS on 6^th November 2016.

On-wards towards Phase II of the project, we are seeking funds towards the purchase of a bass combo system for bass amplification, in addition to other instruments.
