Part of the Empowering Children series, preached at a Sunday 1st Service service
EMPOWERING CHILDREN TO SERVE: THE PLACE OF CHILDREN
IN GOD’S WORK
Compassion, an NGO that pursues to release Children from
poverty in Christ’s name, claims that, “from the very beginning to the
end, God speaks about the prominence of children through his Word.
They further enthuse: “Because children are important to God, children
are important to us.” We have a lot to learn from the Children of the
Bible. Going from Jesus Christ, to Isaac, Samuel, David, Timothy
among others. These Children of the Bible; took note of the voice
of God and the teachings of Christ. They were humble and
unquestionably obedient. They took their place in God’s work
and World with boldness. This study is thus intended to help us
discover how to include our Children in ministry without looking
down on them.
Scripture reference: Matthew 18: 1 – 6, 10.

of people who believed, involved and welcomed us. Jesus
says; “And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name

b)In verses 6, Jesus declares that; “But if anyone causes one of
these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to
