Who We Are and What We Do

We are a team that is made up of Christians that have the abilities to enhance worship with technology and the gifting that God has given us. We believe that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. Philipians 4:13
DCKS Technical Team supports the weekly and Sunday services and all ministry activities at DCKS. We do sound mixing and recording, visual projection, photography, video shooting and web design.

 

How You Can Plug-in:

We rely heavily on volunteer participation and we would love for you to be a part. Indeed it is Jesus who calls people to ministry. God is not looking for technical skill, He is looking for obedience. No experience is necessary, you are trained in the job.

Be a born again Christian
Have a willingness to serve Jesus and have commitment to Jesus and to ministry.

Serving opportunities

• 1) Sound Engineering: Work with the sound person to setup the stage, music and tech equipment, help with mic checks, be available during services to help with issues and set down after service.
• 2) Visual Support/ Projecting The use of presentation media in the church sanctuary allows the DCKS music ministry and pastoral staff to connect with the congregation on a high level, and also as a supplement to those who use sign language.
• 3)Photography- Take pictures, sort and store them for the website and our various publications.
• 4)Video Shooting- It is used to give feeds to outside broadcasts and eventually to various rooms and the website.
• 5) Web Design: Involves creation of webpages and updating of existing ones on our webite. Content is generated from the other parts of the technical ministry and is what is used by our web devevlopers.
